Abstract:
Business environment is undergoing tremendous changes because of diversification and personalization of customers needs, and it is hard for the traditional function-oriented organization to satisfy these demands, therefore it requires new ideas to deal with the problem. Process-oriented organization has drawn the attention of more and more scholars and companies. In this paper, VSM (viable systems model) was used to design the process-oriented organization, and entropy theory was also employed for simulation computing of the degree of order of the organization structure. At last, process-oriented organization and function-oriented organization were compared based on the case study of HT broadband company. The result shows that information can be transferred faster, less distortion and more efficient in process-oriented organization.
