Abstract: The theory of bispectral analysis and its mathematical model are introduced. The applications of the analysis is presented in which the method for the extraction of signal's phase characterization is introduced in detail. Based on the EEG signal-processing system applying bispectral analysis, the results and their analysis obtained by processing EEG signals are given. The results show that the method of bispectral analysis is very effective in processing EEG signals. The method proves to be a new tool in the study of EEG signals and in obtaining more useful information.
