Abstract: Fatigue fracture probability, reliability and life of structures are important functions in studies concerned with fatigue fractures here discussed, with an emphasis on fatigue fracture probability of metals. Following a detailed mathematical derivation a new approximate algorithm for the fatigue fracture of metals is given namely a complicate integral having a changing upper limit. Statistical theory of fatigue fracture finds here an actual application.
