Abstract: CAD/CAM integrated technology based on feature modelling has been a very important field in CAD.Introducing the study of feature modelling on I-DEAS, this paper focuses on the description of features, alignment of features, and composite features. Methods of features management and the prospect for feature modelling are finally described.
