摘要: 通过政论分析和计算,从聚焦非等晕性和导星对天空覆盖区域两个方面对两类主要的激光导星,即瑞利导星和钠导星的性能进行了比较,表明钠导星明显优于瑞利导星。重点讨论了钠导星激光能量与自适应光学远镜口径及希望达到的校正精度之间的关系,所和结果很好地解释了不同献报道的数据有很大差异的原因。Abstract: Gives a comparison between the two kinds of laser guide stars resulting from Rayleigh backscattering and sodium resonant scattering respectively. Relationships of the required laser pulse energy for sodium guide stars with the telescope aperture as well as with desired performance of the adaptive telescope are discussed. The marked difference in the required laser energy as reflected in different literature is explained.
