Fast Algorithm for Solutions of Fractal Block Coding Parameters

  • 摘要: 提出了一种快速求解分形编码参数的新方法。首先分析了图像变换域系数与图像几何特征之间的对应关系。,利用离散余弦变换对图像进行分类,快速确定几何变换参数。通过解优化问题快速确定图像灰度比例系数和灰度平移量。实现了基于上述方法的分形图像压缩方案,并对常规方法进行了比较。

     

    Abstract: A new fast algorithm for solutions of fractalblock coding parameters was presented.The relationship between transform coefficents and geometric features of an image was analyzed,and discrete cosine transform (DCT) was used to fix the geometric transform parameter T quickly.The image scaling factor a and gray shifting quantization b were determined through solving an optimum problem.Based on the above algorithm,a fast fractal image coding (FFIC) scheme was completed,and compared with the conventional FIC scheme.Experiments showed that FFIC was 6 times faster in compression speed than the conventional coding scheme with a little loss of about 0.5 dB peaksignal to noise ratio.
