摘要: 针对高速数据采集与高速数据处理系统中要求高速数据传输问题, 研究 FPDP协议在高速数据采集与高速数据处理系统中的应用. 通过分析 FPDP协议的拓扑结构、控制时序、传输数据的帧结构以及接口信号分类等, 说明 FPDP协议在高速数据采集及数据处理系统中具有时序设计简洁, 传输速率配置灵活, 等待时间少等优良特性. 基于 FPGA,给出了 FPDP协议应用于高速数据采集及数据处理系统的实例, 表明 FPDP在该类系统中的应用是可行的.Abstract: High speed data sampling and data processing require high speed data transport. The paper is focused on the application of FPDP (front panel data port) specifications in high speed data sampling and data processing systems. It analyzes the specification topology, control timing, transport data’s frame structure and interface signal classification etc. It points out that FPDP specification characterizes itself in simple timing, smart transport rate configuration and diminished wait time. Based on FPGA, in the paper an example is given on the use of FPDP specifications in a high speed system, and indicates that FPDP is practical in such applications.
