纳秒强激光烧蚀铝靶的数值模拟研究

Numerical Simulation of the Ablation of Aluminum Target with Nanosecond Intense Laser

  • 摘要: 为研究强激光对金属表面的破坏效应,文中利用热传导理论和相变的等效温度处理方法,建立了激光烧蚀金属过程的二维计算模型,并利用有限元分析方法对纳秒单脉冲强激光作用铝靶过程进行了数值模拟计算,获得了激光辐照下铝靶烧蚀形状和温度场分布特征. 结果表明,在激光单脉冲能量一定的情况下,脉宽越长,烧蚀形状愈加细长;大光斑的烧蚀半径要小于光斑尺寸,且光斑增大到一定程度后烧蚀半径因功率密度下降而减小.

     

    Abstract: In order to investigate the laser damage effects on the metal surface, a two-dimension numercial model for the laser ablation of metal was established based on the heat conduction theory and the equivalent temperature of phase transformation. The processes of the laser ablation of aluminum target with nanosecond laser pulse were simulated by using finite element analysis method. The ablation shape and temperature field distribution of aluminum target irradiated by laser were obtained. The results show that when the energy of laser pulse is given, the ablation radius becomes smaller and the ablation depth becomes deeper with the longer pulse width. The bigger spot size,the more ablation is near the spot size. Ablation radius decreases because of the low power density after the spot size increases to some value.
