多物质流体动力学界面追踪的Particle Level Set方法

Application of Particle Level Set Method in the Multi-Material Interface Capturing

  • 摘要: 为验证Particl Level Set方法界面处理的高精度,将Particle Level Set方法与流体动力学控制方程进行了耦合,用5阶WENO格式进行空间离散,采用3阶TVD-Ringe-Kutta方法离散时间导数,并用C++语言编制了程序. 运用该程序对激波与气泡相互作用问题进行了数值模拟. 与不同网格尺寸下的Level Set方法对比,结果表明Particle Level Set方法比Level Set方法界面处理精度更高.

     

    Abstract: In order to verify the high accuracy of interface treatment, the Particle Level Set was coupled with the governing equations for fluid dynamics, and the 5th-order WENO scheme for discretizing spatial derivative and the third TVD-Runge-Kutta scheme for temporal derivative were adopted. The code was developed by C++ language. The problem for the moving shock interacting with single Helium bubble was simulated by the code. The interface treatment simulation result shows that the Particle Level Set method has higher accuracy than the Level Set method under different grid sizes.
