HOLOGRAPHIC RECORDING MATERIALS OF A NEW PHOTOPOLYMER SYSTEM

Abstract
Holographic recording materials of a new photopolymer system are reported in this paper. They share the merits of both the silver halide and dichromated gelatin. Recording can be completed with He-Ne laser. Exposure of 15mJ/cm2 is sufficient for the transmisson grates with a diffraction efficiency of 80%. Resolution is more than 4000cyc/mm. Under dry condition such materials have a shelf life that exceeds half a year. Lippmann holograms with red color or orang or green can be obtained with suitable exposure and processing conditions using red laser light
