Real-Time Registration Algorithm for Mult-Level Images

Use of the image registration technology in terminal guidance can stabilize the aiming-point. If implemented by software the technology has the additional advantage of flexibility and reliability. To get optimal tracking performance, different parameters can be selected in accordance with the existing background and targets. Brings forth a real-time registration algorithm SSDA using the method of optimum programing. This algorithm has been implemented using the TMS320C25 processor under the condition of 1K reference image and 4K searching image. It can copmlete the searching for a 4K searching image within 40ms.
