Conflict-Resolution Strategies and Their Effects on the Efficiency of Inference

After explaining the meaning of conflict-resolution strategy, the frequent ly-used conflict-resolution strategies, viz. depth strategy, breadth strategy, lex strategy, mea strategy,complexity,simplicity strategy and random strategy are presented. An experiment is shown in which the typical AI problem "farmer's dilemma" is used as an example with the help of the expert expert system toll CLIPS V5.1. The results is given and analysed.
