Wireless Network for In-Home Monitoring

Wireless sensor network based on Zigbee for in-home monitoring is discussed.The Zigbee protocol is first analysed.The network topology,routing and sampling are discussed and methods for these issues are given.Designs of pulse sensor nodes and base-station using Zigbee standard are presented.Tests were made for the in-home pulse wave monitoring.The results demonstrate the viability of the Zigbee wireless network as a foundation for these and other biological monitoring applications.
