Nonisothermal Kinetics of Solid-Solid Phase Transition in Polyethylene Glycol/Diacetate Cellulose Phase Change Materials

  • Polyethylene glycol(PEG)/diacetate cellulose(CDA) phase change materials were prepared by blending PEG and CDA.Nonisothermal kinetics of solid-solid phase change transitions in PEG/CDA materials were investigated by DSC.Kissinger and Ozawa methods were applied to determine the activation energy(Ea) and reaction order of solid-solid transitions.Results obtained by the two methods were found to be in agreement.
