Experimental Study of Pulse Current of Water Impacting and Detonating on Potassium Chlorate Explosives

  • Describes a research on high-pressured pulse current of water impacting and detonating potassium chlorate explosives. A series of different speeds and different diameter of high-pressured pulse current of water were designedto impacton the test samples of potassium chlorate explosives. Critical speeds and detonation criteria were obtained.The result shows that the detonation criteria of high-pressured pulse current of water impacting and detonating potassium chlorate explosives is consistent to the detonation criteria.
