Study on Method of Heading off Fragments from Vessel Explosion Based on Its Trajectory Analysis

  • For the factory being used or not meeting the required safety protection distance, the barrier net was put between the accident source and objective vessel needs to be put to make up for the lack of actual distance in this paper. Based on the analysis of fragment projection, the actual fragment trajectory was calculated by Monte Carlo method. It is found that the impact probability of fragment on the objective vessel with the condition of barrier net was attained and impact probability and the height of barrier net obey a strictly inverse linear relation. The blocking probability caused by lower barrier is less. So, in the actual layout, the block net should be set from a height in order to leave space for emergency escape and save the interception cost.
