Design and Research of Double-Stator Pump for Downhole Oil Production

  • In order to meet the requirements of downhole oil production, a new double-stator pump was designed. Compared with previous double-stator pump, the pump conduits were changed. For a lot of flow turnings in the pump, the flow field of conduits was simulating analyzed with CFD technology. Through the analysis to the pressure and velocity diagram, the rationality of conduit design was confirmed. Based the observation of the form on the leakage, the axial leakage was designated as the main way of leakage. To reduce the leakage, a floating plate and a support ring were designed for constructing the end face compensation.
