Comparison and Analysis of Several Plastic Yield Criteria

In this paper, the development and application criteria of H. Tresca and Von. Mises yield, M-C and D-P yield and twin-shear and triple-shear yield were first comprehensively compared and analyzed with focuses on their basic theories, geometric meanings, applicability and verification. The new yield criteria were put forward to improve the imperforation of the yield surface of the traditional yield criteria and the applicability of new criteria was further experimentally validated.
