Abstract

This paper presents a compact unidirectional broadband antenna designed for cerebral hemorrhage detection via microwave imaging. The antenna employs a slotted dipole patch as the primary radiator, complemented by parasitic patches and a metal reflector to achieve wide bandwidth and focused radiation. Simulation results demonstrate a bandwidth of 86.42% (1.38-3.48 GHz) and strong directional characteristics. The proposed antenna offers a low-cost, non-ionizing alternative to traditional imaging techniques, suitable for portable prehospital diagnosis.
