Abstract

Global Navigation Satellite System-based synthetic aperture radar interferometry (GNSS-based InBSAR) can achieve 3-D deformation monitoring of the scene by deploying receivers on the ground to receive navigation signals reflected from the scene. However, the deformation monitoring accuracy of this system has not been fully verified, and it is necessary to conduct cross-system joint experiments based on a calibrator to verify the accuracy. In this letter, a joint calibrator integrating differential GNSS (D-GNSS), ground-based SAR (GB-SAR), and GNSS-based InBSAR is designed. The phase error compensation method for the calibrator is proposed for GNSS-based InBSAR. First, the composition of the calibrator is introduced, and a corresponding signal model for GNSS-InBSAR is established. Then, compensation is performed for the antenna positioning error, offset phase, and atmospheric phase, respectively. Finally, by jointly comparing the true deformation values of the displacement stage with the results of D-GNSS, GB-SAR, and GNSS-based InBSAR, it is demonstrated that the 3-D deformation monitoring accuracy of the GNSS-based InBSAR can reach 2.6, 3.2, and 5.3 mm.
