深空探测自主导航与控制、轨道设计与优化。
在国内外重要学术刊物上发表学术论文150余篇，其中被SCI和EI收录100余篇。授权发明专利40余件，出版专著5本。承担973、重点研发项目各1项，863重大和重点项目3项，国家自然科学基金项目5项。

1979年9月—1990年9月，在哈尔滨工业大学获得自动控制专业学士、硕士学位，一般力学专业博士学位

1993年11月在哈尔滨工业大学任教授
